We all have dogs we were stuck in, and some that make your eyes water when you think how much you have sunk into them. My biggest lesson in Daytrading was RRS. It was a penny stock, but went through a consolidation so it went to $1. Had high hopes for oil in Puntland. Was reported for years as the world's biggest oil reserve. Had oil fields in Texas, the carribean, was extracting Gas in Lebanon. A lot of big names invested in it, including one certain person who even flew to meet the CEO to find where all the money had gone. One poster on the RRS thread kept posting and assuring people he was in constant talks with the CEO and everything was going great even though the share price was dropping. He kept assuring us he was a top 20 holder and all was rosy. There were a lot of great stories about it to make you want to jump on. I did. Lost hundreds of thousands on it. Sold out when it went back to 20c. Now I look at it, and the price is 0.001 with no buyers. That top 20 holder was selling while telling everyone to buy. A hard lesson to learn for all holders and especially for people who buy the story and believe the hype and don't get out when the signs are there. Never fall in love with a stock. It will be your downfall.
