I would be a lot more keen on high immigration if we actually built the infrustructure to support it. If we are not willing to pay the cost to support the people coming here then don't bring them here.
I live in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney and the building of apartments going on without any extra infrustructure is scary. Alexandria (just one example) is one big building site and the roads and rail are already well over full capacity and nothing is been done to support the population growth.
