I'm curious Slange - If iron ore prices hold at these levels until June 30, FMG's profit for the half-year period will be around US$2.5- $3.0 Billion. Shareholders would be looking at a dividend of around 50c a share (assuming a 50% dividend payout ratio). Would you ever be tempted to buy FMG shares and simply hold them? Enjoy a ride that will surely lead to capital growth in the share price AND receive a fat fully-franked dividend on top?
