Most of my economist buddies are devotees of the 'efficient market hypothesis'. Its premise is that 'at any given time and in a liquid market, security prices fully reflect all available information.'

I've always maintained that it's a crock of sh*t - and that share prices do get out of line with fair value and will often take time to adjust (upwards or downwards) towards fair value.

I think ANO is a case in point. All the signs were there that it was undervalued, from the fundamentals to the long term chart. And full credit to kearneymaurice, vestro and the other long termers on here for spotting the gap between ANO's market price and its fair value. We've earned every cent that we've made.
