The verses you quoted have been mistranslated AND you are not looking at the context.
Would that be like you do with the following;
John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 10:9 - I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
John 10:1 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
John 2:19 & 21 - Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
But he spake of the temple of his body.
Luke 24:39 - Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Acts 1:9 & 11 - And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Like manner - Rev 1:7 - Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Acts 17:31 - Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness bythatman whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Heb 13:8 - Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Luke 21:33 - Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Are my above writings more of what you don't understand?
Jesus pretty much says, heaven and earth will pass before his words, has your heaven and earth passed, therefore his words are not really relevant now?
Do you not think the above verses paint a very clear picture in that Jesus did not rise as a spirit?
Does it not say the man Jesus is whom God will judge by?
Does not Jesus's return look like the reverse, like manner to that which he left, in the clouds?
Do the above verse paint another picture as in, another Jesus would come?
Is not the verse above very clear, Jesus the same yesterday and forever and that would also include the words of Him?
Do you not see the clear and obvious here, Jesus going out of his way to show and prove, a bodily resurrection, especially when you read how he really hit this point home to Thomas in John?
