Factfinder,
"If LNC is successful, CXY will be successful.
If LNC is un-successful, CXY will still be successful."
Pretty bold statement that one. Sure CXY's Dr Walker has successfully participated in the trial burn at Chinchilla. But that is pretty much as far as it goes. You seem to forget Linc has a 60% holding in Yerostigaz.
"Yerostigaz is the only company in the world that has been commercially producing Underground Coal Gas (UCG) for use as feedstock for the generation of power. Not only has it commercially produced gas for nearly 50 years commencing production in 1961 at Angren in Uzbekistan, but it has done so continually and without interruption to gas supply during that period." http://www.lincenergy.com.au/yerostigaz.php
So factfinder allthough Linc have not begun a successful commercial UCG operation here in Australia, they already are SUCCESSFULLY partnered in generating power commercially via UCG production in Russia. Fifty years of intellectual knowledge on power generation via UCG is by all means leaps and bounds ahead of CXY and it is something Linc have access to and CXY does not.
Dont get me wrong, I believe CXY has some real potential and I have holdings in both companies. Making comparisons of the two companies as being equals I personally find to be a little misleading.
Linc is leading this sector for good reason, I try making my investing choices of the facts not assumptions, allthough sometimes one has to combine both.
