    ''The onus is then on you to show me a verse in the Quran that indicates Muhammad showed behaviour that warranted torture and death of His family and followers.''

    I did that in Post #: 37712483

    I quote;
    ''Muhammad enjoyed the protection of his powerful uncle, Abu Talib:[The leading men of Mecca] went to Abu Tablib [and said] “Your nephew has cursed our gods, insulted our religion, mocked our way of life and accused our forefathers of error. Either you must stop him or you must let us get at him”

    So the charge against Mohammad was that he imposed himself and his new religion onto people - ''cursed our gods, insulted our religion, mocked our way of life and accused our forefathers of error'' - and consequently became an unwelcome citizen.

    Not at first, though. At first he was considered to a madman, a version of a fiery street corner preacher. It was only as he gathered followers that he became a problem. I've already pointed this out. Including his raids on Merchant Caravans to steal and pillage and finance an army in order to further his religious aims.

    Not the actions of a man of peace, or what you would expect from a 'prophet of God''
