I just received this response from Armada Capital regarding future announcements of Australian merchants -

Thanks for your question and interest in Splitit.

From the outset, we decided that we would not announce individual merchant sign ups unless they were of a material size. We do not want to a) build an expectation that we will announce every deal and b) indicated to the market that we believe small merchant acquisitions are significant to our business.

Also note that we already had a number of merchants in Australia using the solution, so these two are not the first.

As you would have seen we recently hired an APAC lead (Andrew Pipolo) and he is in the process of building out a team here. The real news will be when he gets things going and we can point to a more substantial uptake in Australia or any large merchant acquisitions. Stay tuned
