If it promotes wellbeing, the Scandinavian model is one that I can comfortably support.
For me promoting well being is not an optional extra for a society if it is to be called civilized.

The reality is however, that the Scandinavian model is atheistic.
That to me is a strength not a weakness. No sky daddy watching your every move, monitoring your every thought and promising you horrible consequences for lack of faith which you brought up in a previous post.

Our strength lies in our ability to engage our intellect, our senses of union with each other (Ubuntu), mutual respect, mutual support etc not in some deity that we fight and even kill over.

As much as some may wish to shout and scream, the world is predominatly theistic and so the Baha'i Faith offers a model that enables theism and atheism to thrive without hindering societal wellbeing.

As much as you wish to shout and scream, where has a predominantly theist world got us. I see division and hatred which the Baha'i Faith has done little to stem. I'm not surprised because I see little love, respect, and compassion coming from your depiction of this faith.

I am willing to bet you that there are more people on this planet that profess no faith than who profess the Baha'i Faith. I am happy to be proved wrong.
