Shorts gets increased just before buy back is a typical scare mongering tactics applied by the big institutional just to get the stock cheap. They are professionals and they know they cover it in time and can go long just in time for the buy back........ I don't read much into it.
2 days will b very volatile but I c SP ending in green at the end of trading.
Iam confident in the fundamental intrinsic value that bin offer on peer comparison valuation. Hence volatility created by shorts won't bother.
I can see SP over 1.8 in short term so iam gonna sit tight
