Nobody will know just what will happen after franking credit refunds are withdrawn from some people. Only time will tell although I expect any changes will be slow. I think only about 6% of the population are directly affected anyhow so whatever they do it will not be Earth shattering for the rest of us. I think Labor's financial estimates will be accurate in the short term but may not be over a longer term. Also we will need to see exactly what the legislation that is introduced says as minor changes tend to creep in when things are presented to parliament. Dave R.
