how to sell the coal seam gas

just wondering how LMP is going to sell the csg, i had heard the nz govt is not keen on power generation from csg and wants all new power generation from renewables ? Is there new legislation restricting hydrocarbon emmissions now nz has signed kyoto
CSG is big in Aus but you need pipelines to get it to market ?Southland is long way from north island where the power is needed. I assume they could buid a CNG plant for the methane and then ship anywhere
