CENTRO Properties Group's long suffering investors finally had their day in court yesterday - all 20 minutes of it.
While the lawyers thrashed it out in court, there were suggestions that Centro was "imminently" close to selling the group's majority interest in the Centro American Fund, which has about $860 million in assets.
Brokers said a sale would ease Centro's debt burden, particularly as the group approaches its next hurdle this Friday, when it must have in place a $155 million "liquidity facility".
