    Geophysical work had been already conducted at Harts Range by our [then] Bureau of Mineral Resources from the air and to a small extent on the ground. Our [four geos]mission was to do further ground geophysics and take samples.

    This we did.Some 800 samples were bagged, numbered and sent to Perth for lab analysis. Keep in mind that this occured only 21 years after the end of WW2, and all discussion of uranium and its well feared powers was very confidential. Nothing as open as it is now.
