Particularly like the reference to COP's 'sale' to WPL. Boy you can say a lot with two little inverted commas.

Plenty to like about our prospects. As discussed elsewhere, SNE is now a no-brainer to add significant heft to our share price. Soloo looks to be a cert (didn't we think that about Samo?) and FAR seems extremely upbeat about the future appraisal of SNE North. (From memory, that was the deeper-than-SNE discovery, was it not?)

Now, if only Guinea-Bissau comes up trumps!

The hard heads here will berate me - and I agree the Board acted correctly - but what a pity our staff couldn't be rewarded with bonuses for an incredible year's work. It was hardly their fault the oil had moved on from Samo.
