And people wonder why ASX is considered a joke. A junior lawyer, with no knowledge of mining, employed as a compliance officer for the ASX sitting behind a screen in Sydney and never having visited a mine site let alone looked at an exploration report the right way up, suddenly charged with the responsibility of protecting us poor ill informed investors by stopping anything that looks like a potentially postive insight into the future prosepcts of a company from being published or demanding to know why a company with world class mineral rights and the ability to uncover a tier one mineral province, could possibly have its share price go up above 10% in one day.
Anyway, at least the compliance officer will be able to meet their performance targets at review time and be able to bank their 5% bonus. Yay!
