I disagree with your point of view. Adults take time off work for political causes all the time. I think it is great that young people feel strongly enough about a cause to want to protest and let the world know that they disagree with how the world is going whether it is on school time or not. Missing one day from school is not going to impact their education in the slightest. In fact may many school kids these day do an enormous amount of homework and school work in their own time.
