This "right" wing, "left" wing, centre...to explain any action or attack is just plain nuts. It means nothing. why isn't an extremist attack by Islamic terrorists described as "left" or "right" wing then?
The perpetrator in this case obviously has mental issues, regardless of whether it was a considered and planned attack...it was still not what you would consider normal behavior.
As long as the media and Politicians try and label an event such as this tragedy right wing or left wing driven they are looking for excuses and are blind to some facts...the bloke was able to be pushed over the edge, to succumb to an uncontrolled emotional outburst, Therefore there must be a serious problem in our society that needs to be addressed. He may not be the last person to take things into their own hands and create mayhem and deaths like this.
There are an awful lot of sick people in our society...we all but ignore them from a mental health point of view. But to assign some sort of label to describe their activity is ridiculous.
The guy is plainly a nutter...he should be put into a straight jacket and locked in a padded cell...though if I had my say he would be put in front of a firing squad, regardless of his mental illness.
