They take a long time, have been in this one for some years and they have resolved only slowly.

Nevertheless, I'm not worried about this stock and have an order in wait should it drop lower again, though I'm less hopeful of it being hit now that a couple of weeks have passed. I'm still up substantially up overall on this stock by buying when it drops low like this and selling when it swings upwards, even though my first buy (40c a few years back) was definitely jumping the gun. Its a good buy at these prices because its little risk of long term earnings decline from here imo. Payout of the CAs only damages that years earnings and I'm not bothered whether they win the remaining ones or not. They only need to be defended to show that CCV are not pushovers. They have paid their dues, which were absolutely owed.

The ultra low PE, backed up by high NTA compared to price are backstops against further sustainable falls in price, making it a pretty solid chance by my judgement.

A couple of years of solid 6 cps earnings, final resolution of CAs and a return to dividend will get the PE back up. Doesn't need much of a PE re-rate on 6c eps to make solid gains on the sub-20c price level today. Could easily be years still coming though.
CCV have cleaned up their act years ago and no longer are classed as predatory lenders in my eyes, making the risks of senate enquiries minimal to the long term outlook.
