I may well be wrong however it is my understanding that the Minister for the Environment stated, upon announcing the decision that a BAPE was required, "According to Documents submitted by the company the mining project will have a maximum extraction capacity exceeding the threshold of 2000 metric tones"

Don't think it would be wise for Sayona to provoke any more shareholder rage by releasing an official document confirming same.

I'll admit I could well be completely wrong or the Minister may have been misquoted or lying or mistaken but as we do have to submit to BAPE and no other reason for this decision has been forthcoming I doubt it.

As yet we have had no response from the company explaining why they think, after applying for a BAPE relaxation, that their submission was rejected nor have we had any indication of what the way forward may be apart form "We are assessing our options"

Seems to me we only have three options- Walk away, resubmit with a lower maximum extraction limit and hope for a positive outcome or submit to a BAPE.
