The catholics have been plagued by governance that has allowed creepy old men to abuse young children (hopefully they will stop now that their 3 or 4 ic is going to jail). They also have some repugnant views on family planning but overall they would appear to be light years ahead of islam. Note I am neither catholic or muslim.
