    it was an assault because the Senator was struck. It was an assault designed to provoke and Annings did not have the composure to let others hold him and insist for the police to lay charges whilst slamming the left for not criticizing their own violence.

    Annings first punch to me was instinctual. The re-engage attempt by both was broken up but then the pinning on the ground quickly turned to assault.

    If Anning gets removed for that, people will try even more "pranks" on politicians to remove the ones they don't like from office.

    it was politically motivated violence. A few weeks in a cell would be good for the kid, more for the ones that mob assaulted him.
