Not sure if anyone can confirm this, but I believe there was a somewhat recent change to the R&D tax incentive program which could well start to impact us soon. Obviously not going to be a huge impact on earnings if we do see strong growth, but worth knowing I'm sure.
My understanding is that once revenue is over $20m in the year, the rebate rate drops from 43.5% to 8% of R&D expenditure. Also, the rebate is only payable if the company is actually paying tax which presumably we won't be with our tax assets. So that $200k odd payment we are going to get this year may be $0 in FY20. Little Less cash in the tin for them to use for divi or expansion.
Anyone aware of anything different?
