For someone who spouts that people should DYOR this post is complete tripe. I have just been to Babylon last month and there is basically nothing left that hasn't been rebuilt (and badly built, thanks Saddam). Save for some asphalt pathway and brickwork structure that was buried and protected. Babylon was built around 2300BC.

The Romans invented cement but it was extremely hard to manufacture which is why it was not used more extensively. And when it was used there are still many examples of it standing the test of time. Modern cement has only existed since the 18th century and look how prolific it is now. Stone and brick bridges have been replaced by concrete. City buildings which were limited to several stories when block and brick can now tower hundreds of meters thanks to concrete.

The uses of concrete for building are ever expanding. Write off the use in residential 3D printing at your peril. For the guy that just presumes HX can do and build everything no worries and all their problems are easily solved, they just haven't needed to demonstrate it yet. You don't think concrete 3D printers are refining and improving their techniques too?

    Dude, gimme a break!!
