I hold Arafura resources shares (ASX code:ARU) and learnt of BHP's exploration through reading ARU company announcements and the ARU thread. Have a look at the official company announcements for more detailed and accurate info. ARU have a farm in agreement with Mithril resources who in turn have an agreement with BHP.
Note they are looking for Nickel and or sulfides hosted deposits. They have found Ni and Cu sulfides in their first drill hole. However at a much greater depth than the planned drilling THOR announced today.
None the less, it will be interesting to see what they find.
And today we received our expected announcement.
