Extraction? As for Hematite it is easy just everyone else.
As for Iberite (dilute stuff), more costly but better solution will come still got 5-8 years to think

Transport? Combination of road trains and train for hematite (i would imagine). Iberite would be more suitable via slurry pipe as Don Lewis mention in his radio boardroom conversation and comparison to Brazil's scanario.
