Petrol and Diesel vehicles will still be on Australian roads in 20 years. If I was in the market for a new car I'd still go ICE over EV.

Purchase a sub $30k car like a Mazda3 or similar and keep it for 10 years. Sell it to a Uni student for sod all and look to go EV then.

Likely to be on 2nd or 3rd generation batteries, more choices of EV's to choose from and other issues sorted.

I'm not really concerned about the happenings in the local market re EV take up. In the scheme of things we are a pimple on a gnat that's on an elephant.

Relatively small population, less people are driving full stop. Licence uptake for our youngies is slipping.

They don't want the expense of a car and are using PT and rideshare such as Uber on a needs basis.

World wide vehicle take up, and power storage are the cream for the Li plays.
