Thanks , and thank you for all the great contributing points from @SplitFusion and @Jasen96.

I am still of the view that the trouble with Peak Oil is that as Investors , it is one thing we can never truly know due to the transparency or lack thereof of the Saudi's . They still are very much in control of the price actions . However , can we interpret from their actions what is in fact unfolding. If we liken it to the ' Capping ' of an SP before a Capital Raise whereby their periodic dumping allows them ( and others ) to gradually make the ' switch' without setting off to many alarm bells - which in a way is exactly what they are doing in regards to renewable's.

Whatever your view happens to be , I don't reckon that OIL will be dismissed so abruptly as there is just to much money involved.

My main point I was trying to illustrate in my last post was that as Market participants ...whatever your style - we can never know exactly what's waiting around the corner. We can only prepare and in the balance of probabilities have contingent plans in place to to take account of these probabilities.

For instance , and jumping onto another more likely scenario. What if there were to be an announcement that one of the big battery makers were to initiate their intent or interest in setting up a ' Gigafactory ' right here in Quebec .....or even Detroit for that matter. Lets also say in the balance of probable outcomes that the Quebec Government were to announce the Economic ' sweeteners ' and financial concessions to promote and set up the EV landscape for this potential possibility.

So I would ask you all then with the handing down of the Quebec Governments Budget expected and due out in approximately 6 days - would you be ready for the potential ' POP ' in the SP on any news remotely touching on this very dominant and growth orientated new Industry.

I know where my money is and will be placed - And that will be squarely on any of these possible outcomes. Have a great trading day folks smile.png
