Paul Gallen will retire from rugby league after 19 seasons at the top level.The Cronulla captain had spoken about it previously but confirmed his retirement on KIIS FM radio on Friday morning.
Gallen, 37 and the oldest player in the competition, will hang up his well-worn boots at the end of the 2019 season.
“I’m going to retire from rugby league this year,” he said.
