No one votes on Halal, companies choose to make their product Halal certified for commercial reason, they don't have too but do. They would not do so if it didn't provide a positive advantage to their business, we could be cynical and suggest the business is taking advantage of Halal certification to boost their profits. But Business is Business

We have our laws and Sharia law doesn't over ride it, white supremacist bring this up to incite fear

"We have laws against that, just recently a woman in QLD was convicted for such an offence. She didn't do it in Australia, took her two children to Africa to have it done but she was still convicted"

Is that so? care to show some evidence? There have been a few photo's of supposably street signs in England with Arabic on they that turned out to be photo shopped, not need to guess by whom

In any case, been to many non-english places where thankfully they have signs with translations in english. I wonder if the local complain about westerners taking over?
