    Don't know about that.

The fact Labor lost this election from the jaws of vistory despite how pathetic the LNP is at National level is concerning IMO. If you look at Victoria, the mess at Federal level helped the ALP get over the line there.

I know people say elections are won one on local issues etc etc etc, but I don't believe in that view as I think Federal issues do play a part in what some voters do (i.e.I suspect at least 10% of the electorate votes on Federal issues not local as most in the community IMO don't even know the role of Fed/State governments and who has responsibility of what). The fact the LNP got up with only a small swing to the ALP IMO probably means some of the mud on say the ALP's policies around NG/franking credits is sticking (even though I agree with both ALP policies).

I think BS would be wise to keep himself a small target and let the LNP implode - the brain fart by the ALP NSW opposition leader - https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/labor-vows-to-sack-alan-jones-scg-board/ar-BBUn7Cu?li=AAgfYrC&%252525252525253Bocid=ieslice - around the SCG issue where he said I will sack the board reaked of an Opposition thinking they were already in government and now they have to wait another 4 years. People don't like people who think they are born to rule.

Personally the NSW election result is not good for the Federal ALP, but obviously having to pick up only 1 seat the ALP will win the Federal election but it might not get the numbers (especially in the Senate) to do a lot IMO. So BS is wise t take heed from the NSW election and don't act like a moron as if you already think you will win (as voters don't like egos)

    Time will tell
