well you have to look at P/E in context. Looking at P/E for a company which is developing a mine is silly, they don't have an E yet ( although you can look at future E ).
For a company like CSL P/E is important. Its very high. The only way you could justify the current P/E is if earnings increase about 20% a year indefinitely. Market seems to think thats likely, I am slightly dubious myself.
