Read your own linked headline - Apple Credit Card - with MasterCard as their partner (along with Goldman Sachs). Apple pay is already linked to a users' credit cards. It is a new card with more benefits - it is a small threat to Amex & a larger threat to smaller banks issuing credit cards. It is probably something that 'everybody will want' but they will still need to be an approved user & go through a credit application. I can't see a threat to Afterpay at all - who choose to pay after rather than book it on the CC & pay never + interest.
