IMHO, CSL is the "undiscovered" gem of top 20 companies. Most people have I have talked to all talk about BHP, RIO, 5 banks, Woolworth, etc. Whenever I mentioned CSL they all have this blank look on their face. Perhaps this is another reason why it did not really follow the general market tracement back in oct-feb? I always tell people that if I had to put my whole house on a particular company, CSL would be my choice over other bluechips.
I also seriously think that Australia can leverage on CSL's unique advantage to grow our own industry in biotech..
