Yeah I noticed those trades too the other day. From memory, there were trades done at the same time that totalled 50000 shares. Was something like 46346 and then 3654 straight after each other and they did happen 5 or 6 times throughout the day like you said.

Wonder if it was a broker buying? From reading on some of the other threads on there, there's a few conspiracy theories that when shares are traded in that fashion it's a way for brokers to communicate with other brokers. This isnt a hugely traded share no not sure what to make of it.

The recent increase in price / volume over the past 3 weeks made me think that possible a 'buy' recommendation was put our by a broker but havent been able to find anything to suggest that yet.

We should have some more results from Russia in 1 month (Assuming they release results quarterly) so with the 5th patient being implanted a little while ago, fingers crossed for some good news.

Until then we just sit and wait for things to play out in NZ, the possible trials in USA with the Barbara Davis Centre in 2009 and hopefully Australia overturning its moratoruim on xenotransplantation for 2009 also.

Still exciting times ahead me thinks.
