I don't think it is the end of it. I'm not sure what the strategy and tactics were - but there was no way that LYC would accept that offer at that price, when that is similar to the price prior to the Malaysian political issues. But that doesn't mean that WES will walk away. They had a reason for sending out such an unacceptable offer, that is part of a plan to engage LYC from a certain position I would think. Maybe somebody has seen this sort of thing before in takeovers?
