    i agree. if the covenents are satisfied this should be the last hurdle before CNP becomes a serious takeover target. people must remember that CNP's combined book value of assets is some $25 billion odd (as per CNP website). Take off a generous 20% even for the credit crunch and drop in real estate values, leaves you with $20 billion (CNP claim the value of their US properties alone are $17.5 billion) so i am being very modest. Take total debt of $6 billion away and you are left with $14 billion in assets. And CNP is trading at a market cap of $310 million!!!!!!!

    i know people say if it sounds too good to be true it usually is but the stockmarket regularly swings from one extreme to the other and all the fundamentals point to CNP being insanely undervalued.

    bring on the takeover offers. mqg is already rumoured to be circling......
