Who are the "they" that you mention.
As I understand it the new VIC Board consists of Rohan Dalziell, Alex Pismiris, David Sanders as Directors and Dr Dane Etheridge as the Company Secretary.
By comparison the new HDY Board consists of John Hannaford, David Izzard, Brian Thomas, Scott Paterson, Nick Johansen and Sarah Smith remains as Company Secretary.
Now they are entirely separate Boards. There is no cross over in Board personnel. So they should be working totally independently of each other and getting on with what challenges face the BOD in each company with no reference to the other.
IMHO neither company has a preferenced position over the other.
