Trees, I know you 'no hate' - I don't respond to nasty people, and the small group on here is the same - I think - that's why we feel safe to pour our hearts out to our 'friends' - all very much in the safety of being just on-line and very little chance of meeting up personally -
and I guess, if we did meet up in some far-off corner of the universe -
and I often think of the telepathic adventures of the 'souls' in Salman Rushdi's book 'Midnight's Children' when thinking about my forum friends -
there could be acceptance and friendship, as we already know the basics of each other, even if eccentric etc. etc. - but we have shared troubles, laughs, insights, sometimes poetic, sometimes ridiculous etc about the vicissitudes of life, major and minor. ..... and every now and then share talk gets a look-in, too. . . . . and due to some very busy posters, the contributions are often educational.
Trouble is: it's a little moreish and much time can be wasted - sorry allllll!
