L2-there is an article that has just gone onto CNNmoney.com headed "Drilling our way out of rising oil prices". Of course it relates to drilling for oil in the U S ,but it covers the subjects of both oil and gas areas in the U S that are not currently approved for drilling. The article makes 2 points-that approval for drilling in these areas WOULD make a difference to the shortages of oil and gas in the U S and that the lead time before a significant improvement in the supply position in the U S ,in both commodities , as a result of drilling in these areas would result is RATHER long. Approval obviously wont come in a hurry .This sort of publicity adds value,Im sure , to all existing areas where drilling is allowed,whether it be for oil or gas. Cheers
