I agree with you. ANZ does not want to have this go through the courts for months let alone years.
.62 is just a test figure. They will settle in full after a bit more huffing and puffing.
They have changed their lawyers. Conflict of interest sounds "interesting and plausable." I suggest the lawyers are the first casualty in what will be an increasing list of casualties from within ANZ and associates.
Took the media long enough to wake up, but now the hounds are running the fox hunt is well and truly on.
And it I may add, it HC wants to continue to get recogniton for what the members of this forum have collectivley done to get this Opes/ANZ issue to this point they should continue to allow all Opes issues to be posted to ANZ or set up a Opes dedicated forum - none of this a bit here a bit there. Have sent my polite request to HC Admin and I urge others to do so. This could drag on for months.
