Note that this is not an IT retailer, it's the distributor of electronic equipment into Australia for most of the big names (look at their brands on their annual report).
It does not buy stock on the expectation that one of the retailers will sell it; they act as agents for these companies to have a single distributor and the fact that they turnover their inventory over 15 times a year would indicate between then and the companies they act for, they know what they are doing. Inventories written off was an insane 1.5m on a turnover of 1.5bn (~0.1%).
