    what the hell for?

those issues are so far down the priority page that they are totally irrelevant for the future of the Nation

there 'would' be only one mob to vote for IF one of them was standing up and saying the right thing --

    and, it is this

'As to the future of the Nation -- we have no idea. We have no clue at this stage as to where the future is taking us, because the changes that are coming may well be so large, that they are at this stage incomprehensible for a single political party to think of, let alone muse on ways in which to mitigate the effects and set the Australian nation on a healthy and harmonious course'

'Henceforth, our policy will be to form a bipartisan group of all political parties which will set up an entity that will call for submissions from various levels of society to look into the foreseeable changes and possible changes in technologies and their effects on our way of life and come up with ideas for exploring just how Australia might begin to address these issues, and, with luck, turn them to our advantage"

Something like that ----------------- unfortunately - there is no political party in Australia that has the wherewithal to put forward a policy like that --- if there was one --- it would get my vote - without the slightest resistance.

it is my view, that without such a mechanism - it matters not a zot about any other issue at all - without a mechanism like that - our future is written ------------ and, it's written in tatters
