gogreen, Toyota is the only manufacturer that I am aware of that is retaining NiMH batt systems for hybrid cars. They will have a NiMH and a Li plant however.
Ford, Holden, BMW, Mercedes, Nissan, Renault etc... are all working on Lithium powered hybrids.
My point......the Lithium boom has started :)
