Anyone know what the comparative cost of processing a tonne of this Vanadium rich ore for the vanadium, compared to a tonne of gold bearing ore?
Because at 1% plus in the condensate, the vanadium = 10Kg = approx. $700/tonne. This is not far off the value of an ounce of gold, an ounce is about 30 grams from memory, so this ore is like having a whole lot of gold bearing ore at 30g/tonne.
Which brings me back to the question, does it cost a lot more to process that vanadium out of the ore compared to gold? I'm guessing a much finer grind would be required and therefore expense in equipment and power.
