I do not believe we will see 1.60, as long as WES is in the background, and it appears there are other players in play. On the plus side - we will continue operations, although many questions remain.. I ASSUME c&l have to be in place in Au prior to September, and it's unclear what will be agreed on current pile. As mentioned by others, AL may already have plans for this (as can be assumed from their informal questions to WA).
I stand corrected regarding WES intentions though. I wanted to hear from Dr. M himself to understand what 'they' referred to in 'they have promised to move c&l'. Here it is:
It is clear that 'they' refers to companies other than LYC, so WES (and others?) have unfortunately meddled with the government pre-decision, which has swayed the outcome.. I'm not sure if it's ACCC or other entity, but it clearly should be investigated for breaches in regulations.
