You've taken the average for the quarter,
The statement was the % change from the start to the end of the quarter.
(read it again)

Your figures are relating to this statement (see below) which is correct but is a completely separate statement to the rise of 323%. One is average for quarter and one is a percentage increase from start to end of quarter.
