I was once required to work with a bully, a male, when quite young. We were both teachers but I was required to watch his class, in order to observe an experienced teacher at work. I was a brand-new "teacher". His bullying was not physical but the abuse was evident. After the lesson, he asked for my response regarding his teaching skills. He probably thought I would praise the way he treated those boys in his class but I thought he treated them appalling and no-one would fail to see that. I called him out on it. Lost my job, as a consequence.

Hence, I would be appalled at seeing anyone kick a youth when he was on the ground. Just reminded me of that bullying male teacher who thought he needed to be tough to straighten out the boys in a technical school in Melbourne by emotional means. The egg boy is the age of those I used to teach, viz Year 12. But you are correct, to kick him when he was down says more about his character than about that of the young man's and it ain't pretty. Absolutely, a coward.

No-one deserves to be attacked by a low life, whether they be a politician or not.

The kid needs to get some counselling. But young males take until 25 or so before they mature into adults able to take responsibility for their actions, so reckon I'd be one going easy on that egg boy. Why wasn't he at school, anyway? Did any teacher egg him on? They are the things I'd like to know. Discipline by the school should be the first course of action.
