Directors sometimes spend the funds for their benifit,not the shareholders,who are just a source of capital,to be encouraged with wildly optimistic announcements.When directors buy new mining properties on behalf of the company,they can get kickbacks from the vendors,even charitable donations can get this treatment.Money speaks all languages,the problem is,its our(shareholders)money,and the management's divvy up at the end of the day.
