and the details of child molesters, rapists, murders should be made public even after they have been released from jail

Even with often horrific crimes like these there are varying degrees of severity of the offence and offenders

is it all prior offenders who should be named and shamed even those who have rehabilitated or just a select few and if so who selects these few

And if for what ever reason a group of vigilantes turn on one of these ex offenders seriously injures or kills the person what then?

they go to jail and when released their details are released and they themselves become the next potential vigilante target.

And yes I do have young children myself
